prenatal education & Planning session

This one-on-one, in-home prenatal consultation is designed to help you feel informed, prepared, and emotionally supported before your baby arrives.

During this session, we will discuss:

  • Breastfeeding positions, how to recognize an effective latch, and signs your baby is receiving enough milk

  • The “golden hour” after birth and it’s impact on lactation

  • Antenatal colostrum collection

  • Hand expression and pumping

  • Your pregnancy/lactation history and any specific issues or concerns

  • What to expect physically and emotionally in the early days

  • Newborn reflexes, behaviours and development

This one-on-one, in-home postpartum consultation will support you and your baby during the early days of your feeding journey.

Visit includes:

  • Review of pregnancy and birth history

  • Observation & assessment of feeding session

  • Troubleshooting any challenges such as nipple pain, engorgement, or uncertainty about supply

  • Discussion of your feeding goals and any adjustments needed to support them
